Christina Hughes, MD, FCTMSS is the Medical Director for the Kitsap and Tacoma division of Seattle Neuropsychiatric Treatment Center (SeattleNTC). She is delighted to serve on the Board of Directors for FACTMS, where she is also active in the Patient Advocacy Group, Clinic Expansion, and Development Committees. Dr. Hughes is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician with fellowship training in Multiple Sclerosis. She has had a clinical interest in TMS for more than 10 years and specializes in neurorehabilitation, with a passion for expanding awareness of and access to high-quality, non-invasive treatments for depression and other neuropsychiatric disorders. In addition to her FACTMS involvement, Dr. Hughes is also active in the Clinical TMS Society (CTMSS), FACTMS’s sister organization dedicated to optimizing clinical practice and supporting evidence-based TMS research. She serves as President-Elect and director of the CTMSS Pain Academy Course, is a Fellow of the Society, sits on its board of directors, co-chairs its Membership Committee, and serves on faculty for its PULSES TMS training program. Dr. Hughes is trained on MagVenture, MagStim, Neurostar, Brainsway, and Magnus devices and utilizes all FDA-cleared TMS protocols.
