Diana Daniele

Diana Daniele is a Los Angeles-based writer, literary publicist, and lived experience expert. She has written for The New York Times, Newsweek, Business Insider, Brevity, HuffPost, and Zibby Magazine, among others. Diana’s book manuscript, which includes her four-year mental health odyssey that culminated in her ultimate healing via Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation or TMS, was recently long-listed in the Tall Poppy’s Writers Contest. A tireless advocate for suicide prevention and invisible illness, Diana has appeared on ABC News and Fox-LA, as well as on numerous podcasts. Diana is also a sought-after speaker for conferences, symposiums and book festivals.

Diana’s career began while she was earning her master’s degree from the Annenberg School of Communication & Journalism at the University of Southern California. She won a Research Grant to study “How Barbie Speaks Sexually to Children,” which she completed at USC’s Institute for the Study of Women and Men (ISWM), a feminist think tank studying how women’s gender roles are portrayed in film and on television. When her research was complete, Ms. Daniele stayed on at ISWM, working with both the media and corporate sponsors, such as Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks. Currently, Diana is a sought-after publicist for brands and icons including Saks Fifth Avenue, Ralph Lauren, NBC/Universal, AMC Theatres, Bernard of Hollywood, Rock the Vote, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatrics AIDS Foundation, and the Beverly Hills Hotel.

A member of Women’s Media Group in New York and Hollywood Radio & Television Society in Los Angeles, Diana is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and earned her M.A. in Journalism at USC. She has also completed coursework in English Literature at University of Cambridge, England and studied Philology at the University of Madrid, Complutense. She is bilingual.
